Die Merkmale von Ph. nanus, welche in der Hybride sämmtlich latent wurden, kamen in verschiedenen Combinirungen wieder zum Vorscheine, das Verhältniss derselben zu den dominirenden musste jedoch bei der geringen Anzahl von Versuchspflanzen sehr schwankend bleiben; bei einzelnen Merkmalen, wie bei jenen der Axe und der Hülsenform, war dasselbe indessen wie bei Pisum fast genau 1 : 3.
The traits of Ph. nanus, which all became latent in the hybrid, now reemerged in different combinations; the proportion of these to the dominating traits had to remain very fluctuating, however, due to the small quantity of experimental plants; meanwhile the ratio was almost exactly 1 : 3, as in Pisum, in certain traits, such as those of the axis and the shape of the pod.
