Auch von jenen Pflanzen, welche violette Blüthen und braune oder schwarze Samen besassen, änderten einzelne in den nächsten Generationen die Blumen- und Samenfarbe nicht mehr, die Mehrzahl jedoch erzeugte nebst ganz gleichen Nachkommen auch solche, welche weisse Blüthen und eben so gefärbte Samenschalen erhielten.
Also of those plants that had violet flowers and brown or black seeds, a few did not change their flower or seed colour anymore; the majority, however, also produced, alongside entirely alike descendants, some that received white flowers and similarly coloured seed coats.
